The NORA Bench seat is designed as a balance between softness and structure, combining sculptural joinery with a restrained and minimal form. The piece is defined by the relationship between its intersecting curved components, where the joinery transitions through the seat and leg structure in a way that appears both resolved and unexpected.

Designed to feel calm and understated from a distance, the detailing gradually reveals itself through closer observation. The softened edges, proportions, and intersections throughout the piece have been carefully considered to create a form that feels both grounded and refined.

Constructed from solid hardwood using traditional joinery methods, NORA is intended to function across a range of spaces — from entryways and bedrooms to dining and living environments — while maintaining the presence of a sculptural object.

Each piece is made to order in Melbourne in small numbers using sustainably sourced hardwoods.
