The Mar dining table is designed around simplicity, proportion, and permanence. A generous solid timber top is supported by a sculpted pedestal that provides stability while allowing comfortable seating from every angle. Soft transitions and rounded edges create a calm, understated presence suited to both everyday living and shared occasions.  

The intersecting pedestal balances visual lightness with structural strength, giving the table a grounded stance without unnecessary bulk. Every curve is carefully shaped to emphasise the natural warmth of solid timber and the quiet character of the design.  

Constructed using traditional joinery methods and solid hardwood, Mar reflects the same considered approach to proportion, simplicity, and detail found throughout the TODD collection. Designed to soften and age naturally over time, each piece is made to order in Melbourne in small numbers.
